MY SUBTLE GLAM MAKEUP LOOK

Hello everyone, it's been a busy past few weeks planning my son's first birthday party, can't believe a year has gone by already.Anyway, with the celebrations out of the way, I thought I should do a blog post on make up products I typically use to achieve my subtle glam look... I usually get a lot of compliments about my make up style so I've decided to share some of my secrets as an avid enthusiast who appreciates the way correctly applied make up enhances ones natural beauty :)

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation: I apply this when I have toned my skin with the Liz earle instant boost skin tonic (not pictured) and primed with the Murad oil control mattifer. I really like the way the foundation goes onto my skin with a beauty blender or buffing brush making the overall application appear flawless.

Brow Perfection: I am quite late in the game in using pomade for my brows and I actually got the Nyx Brow Pomade in Espresso on whim as I had run out of my usually brow pencil in spiked by mac. The brow pomade is inexpensive and a little goes a long away. I outline undeaneath my brows using the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer in deep (I do extend this to my eyelids to serve as a primer) and set my brows using the Benefit brow gel.

Mac Warm  Neutral Palette: These palette has a wide range of textures from metallic to matte that would suit every skin tone. I use those three shades (as highlighted with a blending brush) to achieve a neutral subtle look.

When I am done applying the eyeshadows I create a wing liner with the Estee Lauder Little Black Liner. I quite like the innovation behind it as its got two ends with a slim tip for precision and flat wedge tip for thick and full drama. I then apply Red Cherry Lashes in style 43 using the Revlon Lash Adhesive to add that natural but sultry look. I then finish off with the L'oreal Paris False Lash Sculpt Mascara in black. For the final look I use nyx black eye pencil to line underneath my eyes.

Highlight and Contour: Am sure by now you would have guessed am a huge fan of Estee Lauder as I have mentioned them a lot in these blog post. I use the very dark shade of the Estee Lauder stay in  foundation in rich mahogany to contour and then highlight under my eyes and the bridge of my nose with the stay in place concealer; which I then set using the Sasha Buttercup Setting Powder . I am not a big fan of ''baking'' so I don't let it sit for too long.

For powder I'm still loyal to the Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in deep dark to set the overall look and then highlight with Mineralize Skin Finish in Gold deposit. For my blush, this is actually new and its the NYX Baked Blush in ignite, I quite like the shimmer in it and its flattering and subtle looking.

For my lips I usually go for something simple using Mac lip pencil in chestnut paired with Lime Crime liquid matte lipstick in cashmere and Mac's lipglass in Dej Loaf for a little shimmer.

And there it is guys! Let me know what you think in the comment section. Thanks for reading.
